Shipping & Delivery

Our Limited-production Approach

Each BONZ piece is produced in limited quantities, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and responsible production. During peak periods—particularly the holiday season (Mid December-Chinese New Year)—orders may take 4–6 weeks to be dispatched due to increased demand and the small-batch nature of our collections. We appreciate your patience as we create and prepare your order with care.

 

For made-to-order or customized pieces, delivery times may be up to 6 weeks, regardless of season.

 

Delivery Locations

We offer worldwide shipping to the destinations available in the checkout dropdown. Delivery timelines vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

Please note: We are unable to ship to PO Boxes outside of New Zealand or Australia.

 

Dispatch & Estimated Transit Times

When items are in stock, we aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days, with many morning orders shipping the same day. Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:

New Zealand: 1–2 business days

Australia: 5–10 business days

Rest of World: 6–14 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be impacted by customs processing, courier delays, or seasonal shipping volume.

 

Secure Delivery & Signature Requirement

All orders are shipped via track-and-trace courier services, with barcode scanning for accurate monitoring. Signature confirmation is required upon delivery.

We recommend providing a daytime delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the package. For large office or apartment buildings, couriers typically deliver to the main foyer. Once delivery has been completed, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.

Couriers do not typically contact recipients prior to delivery. If delivery is unsuccessful, a card will be left with instructions for collection or redelivery.

 

Package Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email (and/or WeChat message, where applicable) containing your tracking number. You may follow your parcel’s progress directly via the courier’s tracking system.

 

Multiple Delivery Addresses

We are only able to ship to one delivery address per order. If you wish to send items to multiple addresses, please place separate orders.

 

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International shipping fees do not include any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local charges. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are determined by the destination country.

If an order is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes, BONZ reserves the right to deduct return shipping and handling costs from any refund issued.

In compliance with New Zealand export regulations, all items must be declared at their full value and classified as dutiable merchandise. We are unable to mark orders as “gifts.”

 

Free Shipping & Promotions

Free shipping (excluding furniture and art) is automatically applied to eligible orders at checkout. Promotional free shipping offers may be available from time to time and are subject to specific terms, including minimum spend or promotional periods.

Shipping Delays & Seasonal Notices

While we do our best to meet estimated delivery timeframes, delays may occur due to factors outside our control, particularly during peak holiday periods. Any known shipping blackout dates or extended lead times will be communicated on our website.
